A Nice Mention in the Sunday Boston Globe

Sep 26

OK, so maybe the Boston Globe is a bit geographically challenged (Mayflower Brewing Company in Portsmouth, NH?), but we appreciate their support anyway.  Check out the comments about our IPA in this Sunday’s Boston Globe Magazine.  — Drew

I didn’t realize the Pilgrims landed on Portsmouth Rock;)
BTW, your IPA is always “on tap” in my house. An excellent beer among all your great selections.
    Cheers.

    Hooray - they fixed it!

And Congrats! Between you and Plymouth Rock Studios perhaps the Boston Globe will finally realize that there is a place called the South Shore - and things happen there. Maybe someday they will even discover that there is life outside of 495! GASP!

I sent Boston.com an e-mail on Friday(9/25) to correct their mistake. Doesn’t anyone check there sources. What gets me about that artical is Mayflower was the only beer from MA.

BTW, loved the Summer Rye Beer. Had a few at the Fat Cat over the summer.

  4. John E.,

Pretty Things and Cisco are both also from MA. Pretty Things brews in Westport, MA and Cisco is on Nantucket.
