Pouring Cask on the Cape

Jul 29

Here’s a nice article about one of our customers (Sweet Tomatoes in Osterville) pouring cask beer on the Cape.  http://www.capecodonline.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20090729/LIFE/907290302

Darren is tapping one today, so stop by and give it a try if you are near by.

Two New Members of the Mayflower Crew

Jul 20

We recently added two new members to the Mayflower Brewing crew.  TJ Brearley (right in photo) is our salesman for the Boston area.  TJ brings 10 years of experience in the beer industry and promises to greatly expand our presence in the Boston area.  Alex Boris (left in photo) is our new delivery man, handling all of our current distribution in Southeastern Massachusetts.  A native of Plymouth and a mean musician, Alex is bringing Mayflower to the people.  Together, TJ and Alex are doing their best to make sure Mayflower beer is available in a bar, restaurant or package store near you!

Check Out Our New Tap Handles

Jul 17

Behold our new tap handles!  Shaped like a belaying pin - a device used to secure the lines on traditional sailing vessels (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Belaying_pin) - our new tap handle celebrates our nautical history and provides a bold symbol for our beer.  Look for one in your local bar or restaurant and taste the history! — Drew
