Celebrate the Harvest with Autumn Wheat

Aug 17

We brewed the first batches of our first fall seasonal beer last week. Mayflower Autumn Wheat is a dark wheat beer that blends the malty richness of dark ales with the fruity aroma and bready character of traditional wheat beers. Just the thing for the crisp days of Autumn! Look for it in stores and bars starting in late August.

The Barley Wine Is Ready!

Feb 20

We successfully packaged our Barley Wine yesterday (2/19) and will begin delivering it to customers this coming week.  It will be available in 22 ounce bottles and will be sold through select retail locations and at the brewery.   Mayflower Barley Wine Style Ale is the second release of our Cooper’s Series of limited-batch, wood-aged beers.  Brewed with a single variety of heirloom barley malt - Maris Otter - and aged in oak bourbon barrels for 10 months, it is a rich and complex brew that will warm your soul.  Cheers!

Racking The Barley Wine

Feb 12

Today we are racking the barley wine out of our bourbon barrels into a bright beer tank.  The beer has been conditioning in these barrels since last April, picking up oak and bourbon flavors and mellowing along the way.  The next step is to package in bottles - we’ll let you know when they are ready.  Cheers!
